Ramtin is a primary care practitioner that specializes in using traditional Chinese medicine to treat a wide variety of conditions and diseases. 

Over the years he has worked closely with many professional athletes to treat orthopedic conditions and help boost sports performance. He is an avid athlete who understands first hand orthopedic injuries and imbalances. He uses many modalities to treat chronic pain and injuries including rehabilitative exercise therapy, ART, Guasha, E-Stim and many others as needed,  He works closely with Doctors and Physical Therapists to help patients achieve their goals. 

He also specializes in internal medicine ranging from Digestive, Autoimmune, Psycho Emotional, Fertility and now Long Covid disorders.

Herbal Medicine is his passion. With a background in chemistry, he has a firm understanding of herbs from both the Chinese categorizations and from a pharmacological perspective. His clinic has a detached pharmacy with over 700 herbs which he uses to write custom formulas for his patients. 

He has spent over 10 years developing a platform for Universities to better teach herbal medicine. His platform guides students and doctors in the diagnoses, pattern identification and formula writing process.   His company has been the recipient of many academic awards including the USD, V2 competition. He has been featured on Fox News, KUSI, the Union Tribune, Pacific Beach Bay and Press, and other publications for his work. 

He’s also the owner of the local health food Cafe Rum Jungle in Pacific Beach.

Ramtin opened a health food café at the age of 23 in 2002 and is one of the first people in the United States to import Acai and serve acai bowls.  Rum Jungle Café is celebrating its 20th anniversary this year.
